St. Gabriel's Centennial prayer

God our Father, you alone are holy; without you, nothing is good. Trusting in the prayers of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother, our patron, we ask you to help us to become the holy people you call us to be, during this our centennial year. Never let us be found undeserving of the glory you have prepared for us. We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Faith Can Move Mountains.  Matthew 17:20

MISSION STATEMENT
We the people of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, are members of the Body of Christ, a spiritual community nourished by prayer and the Eucharist, joyfully committed to carrying out the mission of Jesus.  In working together, we share our gifts and proclaim:  we are a family that is welcoming and caring, that celebrates our faith.

Welcome to St Gabriel Our Lady of Sorrows Church! We are a member of Blessed Family 7 (5 parishes in West Seneca, Orchard Park and Elma.) Our Family Moderator is Fr. Greg Faulhaber.

We are a vibrant Family of Parishes with many ministries and activities. We have an active St. Vincent de Paul Society that helps countless people in our family and community.

Our Ladies Guild is our women's group and our Holy Name Society is our men's group. Both sponsor church and community events. Our Respect Life Group sponsors spiritual and educational activities to promote the respect for the life and dignity of the human person.

We are blessed to have a young adult group, Ignite the Light, and a senior high youth ministry group that meets monthly.

Our people's prayerfulness is evident at our daily and weekend Masses, First Friday Adoration, and our monthly prayer group.

We hope you will come and visit our beautiful Church.
